Aston India Foundation – Working Together During Difficult Times
The second in a series of seminars organised by the Aston-India Foundation, aimed at fostering and promoting links between India and UK businesses, drew a large crowd to the Sumpner Lecture Theatre. The seminar examined the legal, financial and operational implications of doing business in India. It also acted as a forum for those wishing to develop new relationships with Indian businesses, strengthen existing ones and network with like-minded individuals.

A line-up of high-profile speakers provided insight into how UK companies can successfully innovate and do business in India, as well as exploring how Indian businesses can thrive in the UK and included:

- Dr Bhaskar Dasgupta - Global Head of Programme Management Office for Global Finance with HSBC

- Mr. Bindi Bhullar - Head of Marketing & Strategic Alliances, Europe for HCL
- Mr. Ian Mason - Business Projects Manager with Advantage West Midlands
- Professor Pawan Budhwar - Director of the Aston India Foundation
During the seminar Mrs Pavel took the opportunity to launch Professor Budhwar's latest book, The Changing Face of People Management in India.
