Business leaders go back to uni

Business leaders and high-flying graduates have been welcomed into two elite societies at Aston Business School.

Wembley Chief Executive Michael Cunnah, Keith Robson, President and Chief Executive of Hamilton Port Authority in California, Accenture senior partner Philip Swallow and Chief Executive of environmental consultancy RPS, Dr Alan Hearne - all graduates of Aston University, Birmingham – have joined the School’s Society of Fellows. Mike Jones, who has served as Director General of the Association of MBAs, has been installed as an Honorary Fellow.

The Society of Fellows is small group of – mainly -alumni who are honoured for outstanding achievements in their professional careers. Fellows are encouraged to take an active role in the life of Aston Business School and the education of students.

The Fellows joined 45 graduates from Aston Business School who were officially welcomed into the Beta Gamma Sigma honour society. Membership is the highest recognition a business student anywhere in the world can receive, and is only open to the top students from the top business schools.
