British Accounting Association (BAA) - Auditing Special Interest Group (ASIG)

 

ASIG is a group of people, all members of BAA, interested in various aspects of auditing:

  • practice of auditing

  • scholarship in auditing

  • teaching of auditing

  • research in auditing

Areas of interest for ASIG

 

The main activities of ASIG at present are:

·    The National Auditing Conference and the Newsletter.

·    

But we are presently considering how best to set up:

·    Regional auditing workshops          

·    Forum on auditing education

·    Auditing Research Group

·    Network of Auditing Academics

 

ASIG Executive Committee

The ASIG committee is formally elected annually at the National Auditing Conference (NAC).  The present committee is as follows:
